Self-portraits
The human eye is more than just a visual organ; it is a gateway into the soul, a vessel for untold stories, and a reflection of emotions too profound for words. In this series of self-portraits, I sought to explore the enigmatic depth and narrative power of the eyes. Each subject holds a universe of experiences; stories of joy, pain, resilience, and hope. By capturing their gazes, I aim to create a connection between the viewer and the subject, transcending the superficial to reveal the raw essence of humanity.
Each pair of eyes tells its own story. Stories that remind us of the shared humanity that binds us all. These portraits challenge viewers to pause and reflect on what it means to truly see another person. What struggles have they overcome? What joy do they hold close? And what dreams remain just out of reach?
